With the Epic Pass, winter sports enthusiasts gain access to over 80 ski resorts in North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan—and, starting now, to the Spieljochbahn as well. This family-friendly ski resort delights visitors with perfectly groomed slopes, the only snow-covered toboggan run, and the longest snow-covered valley run in the Zillertal, as well as culinary highlights for families and leisure skiers.

Your Skiing Experience with the Epic Pass

Holders of a valid Epic Pass receive up to 5 consecutive days of skiing at the Zillertal ski resorts: Spieljoch, Hochzillertal-Hochfügen, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000. Simply present your Epic Pass at the ticket office of any participating ski resort to enjoy direct access to lift facilities across the Zillertal.

Information on Slope Markings

Your safety is our top priority. Please always follow the instructions and signage in the ski resort. We would especially like to draw your attention to some differences in slope markings between North America and Austria.

Safety on the Slopes

Rescue and transport to a valley station of the Spieljochbahn by the ski patrol are free of charge. Helicopter rescues and transport by the Red Cross are excluded from this and are subject to a fee.

SAFE AND MONITORED SLOPES

All official and safe slopes are marked with poles on both sides. Ski trails, on the other hand, are marked on only one side—stay ten meters to the left or right of the poles. As soon as you leave a marked slope or ski trail, you are in open terrain. This area is unmarked, ungroomed, unpatrolled, and unsecured. Since only the open and marked slopes are patrolled, all winter sports enthusiasts must be aware that they are skiing at their own risk when leaving these areas. Caution: In open terrain, rocks, treacherous slopes, and other hazards may lurk.

You can pick up your ticket by presenting a valid Epic Pass at any open ticket window in the Zillertal ski resorts. Please bring your Epic Pass or your Mobile Pass in the My Epic app (plus photo ID) and present them at the ticket counters. You will then receive the keycard for access to the resorts. Please note: There is a €2.00 deposit for the keycard!
